What inspired you to take on your current muse (that you are posting this on): I’ve honestly looked up to Tifa since I was about 3 when I first played VII. I always saw her as an emotionally strong character, and she always fit the badass female trope for me. As I got older, I’d keep playing VII, watching ACC, delving deeper into her psyche for inspiration. Eventually, I found @badassbarmaid‘s blog so many years ago now that it finally inspired me to make my own!
What are your favorite aspects of your current muse:
Being able to say that my portrayal of her has gotten better over the years. I try my best to get her as accurate as possible, and I know I’m not perfect. I never will be. I’ll still try though! That being said, I love being able to delve into a side that the games, the movie, and the OVAs never got to show us as an audience. It’s clear that Tifa has been through a lot, and has her own demons even, but we never get to see it, because she’s always the “mom friend” and “the heart of AVALANCHE.”
What’s your biggest inspiration when it comes to writing:
I try to take inspiration from things I’ve gone through, as well as things from canon, and things that I might not have thought about but it does bring up a good point, if that makes sense. I’ve been writing for as long as I’ve been roleplaying, and being able to portray characters that already exist, as well as my own original characters, really helps me think of new content.
Favorite types of threads:
Give me all of them?? Seriously! Crack/Abridged, Angsty, Hurt/Comfort, Romance, shit even a pure smut??? just– I love all of them. One-liners, long ass threads. Verses that get created on the spot, verses that get plotted out for weeks. Even threads like those with @princexcharmless THAT HAVE HAUNTED ME FOR YEARS. (you know which one i mean you little shit.)
The biggest struggle in regards to your current muse:
Do you have a couple of hours to hear me rant? Because I have a lot to say. I’ve spoken about this before but again, invalidating everyone in AVALANCHE’s problems to validate Cloud’s really fucking irks me, especially when people start getting mean about it. “Tifa’s not that important, she’s just there for the tits, she should have died instead of Aerith.” Listen here. In this household, everyone in AVALANCHE is valid, and even some of the Shinra/Turks guys, looking at Reeve and Cissnei. In this household, we appreciate everyone and VALIDATE everyone. I’m also really annoyed that the other two females in VII, Yuffie and Tifa, are treated like they’re “sluts” and just sex objects while some people give Aerith background and understanding. Nuh-uh. The fucking OT3 of hoes over bros will reign fucking supreme as besties. Fight me behind 7th Heaven, you fucks.

Hello all! I go by Cali here on this little blog of mine! I'm 22 years of age and go by she/her or they/them. Whichever of the two you prefer. I'm located in PST, residing in Southern California.I've been roleplaying on tumblr for about eight years now, since 2011. However, I started roleplaying back in 2007. This means I have about 12+ years of roleplaying experience.
